Interface provided electrical engineering and design services for a $20 million hospital addition and renovation project involving 93,000 SF of space. Design included a power and signal plan, lighting system plan, and new electrical service. In addition to general updates, the project included the following:
Generator Calculations
Interface provided electrical load calculations for the existing 800kw emergency generator, based on information contained in the Methodist Hospital Facility Expansion construction documents and information gathered from site investigations. Interface provided record drawings of the facility expansion project, incorporating all the project instructional bulletins and information gathered from site investigations by another firm.
Nuclear Medicine
This project consists of the remodel of the nuclear medicine room, including the disconnection of existing imaging equipment and the installation of new imaging equipment.
Intensive Care Unit Remodel
Interface provided design services for the remodel
of the hospital’s ICU. Systems
included in our design for the remodel were
power distribution, lighting, telephone/data,
nurse call, & fire alarm.
