Interface provided fire alarm, fire sprinkler,
plumbing, and lighting design for this 47,608
SF building system upgrade. The scope
included a building system upgrade consisting
of a new fully addressable fire alarm system;
a new 13R fire sprinkler system; and a new acoustical
ceiling in corridors and lobbies to conceal
the piping system. Also included was a
new lighting system in corridors, and replacement
of the existing domestic water and hydronic
heating piping systems. Construction on
this project began in September 2003; the total
project budget is estimated to be $1.2 million.
