It’s hard to miss the new Edith Green–Wendell Wyatt Federal Building in downtown Portland. Under the design of SERA Architects and James Cutler, FAIA of Cutler Anderson Architects, the much altered and improved LEED Platinum-seeking federal building exudes leading-edge sustainability including a rainwater harvesting system, designed by Interface’s plumbing team, which will reduce potable water use by 60 percent.
