National Museum of the United States Army Earns Fairfax County Honor Award

The National Museum of the United States Army has received an Honor Award through Fairfax County’s James M. Scott Exceptional Design Awards program, which recognizes outstanding achievements in architecture, planning, and site design.

Established in 1984, the awards celebrate projects that demonstrate excellence in the integration of building and landscape design while enhancing the community and built environment. Renamed in 2017 in honor of former Providence District Supervisor James M. Scott, the program continues to highlight projects that exemplify exceptional design and planning.

Congratulations SOM and to the entire project team on this distinguished recognition and commitment to design excellence.
