Ten miles west of Portland lies a town that almost doubled its population in the last ten years. Eager to fill the needs of this burgeoning suburb, Hillsboro developers decided it was the ideal place for a village within the town mall concept. Yet, mindful of the area, the Streets of Tanasbourne made sure to balance large anchor stores with small local retailers in the retail space.
Interface Engineering was selected to provide MEP design services for the shell, including a rooftop HVAC for the 50 retail stores in 13 buildings for the entire project. More special is the lighting design Interface contributed to the interiors and facade, bestowing a festive mood to the Streets of Tanasbourne.
